What does 100 m water resistance mean?
From 100 m (10 bar) the watch is suitable for swimming. The metre rating refers to the test pressure of the water-resistance test, not a diving depth.

Description
The Rolex Day-Date 40 with the manufacturer's number 228238 has a green dial and a 40mm case. The case as well as the President bracelet are made of 18 carat yellow gold. The Day-Date 40 is a chronometer with the caliber 3255 and features a date display as well as a day of the week display.
