From 100 m (10 bar) the watch is suitable for swimming. The metre rating refers to the test pressure of the water-resistance test, not a diving depth.

This Rolex Day-Date 40 has the manufacturer number 228235 and a beautiful olive green dial. The 40mm case with fluted bezel and the President bracelet are made of 18 karat Everose gold. The chronometer is equipped with the caliber 3255 and has both a date and a day of the week display.
Rolex has developed and patented a unique 18-karat gold alloy that preserves the beauty of rose gold. The alloy is produced in the company's own foundry. Introduced in 2005, the 18K Everose gold is included in all Rolex rose gold models.
