About Zenith

Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, where it still makes its watches. It is part of LVMH.

In 1969 Zenith introduced the El Primero, one of the first automatic chronograph movements, beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour so it can measure tenths of a second. It is still the heart of the Chronomaster collection.
