The new Oysterflex Yacht-Master bracelet, developed and patented by Rolex, is a sporty alternative to metal bracelets. The bracelet consists of a flexible nickel-titanium alloy plate connected to the case by a secure clasp. The plate is coated with a high-quality black elastomer, which is highly resistant to environmental influences, has a long life and perfectly adapts to the wearer. For better wearing comfort, the Oysterflex strap is equipped with lateral pads on the inside, which stabilize the watch. It also features Rolex's patented Glidelock extension system and the secure 18-karat gold Oysterlock folding clasp. This ingenious device, with a toothed bar on the clasp, allows the bracelet to be extended by up to 15 mm with a detent of about 2.5 mm, without the use of tools.
