Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Automatic in stainless steel, reference ZO9269

Zodiac is one of the historic names of the dive watch. Its Sea Wolf of 1953 was among the first watches made for recreational divers, and today the Super Sea Wolf offers a vintage-style Swiss diver at an accessible price, often in bold colours. We have 80 Zodiac watches in stock, from $570 to $4,395, with a median of $1,230.

A short history

Zodiac was founded in 1882 by Ariste Calame in Le Locle, in the Swiss Jura. In 1953 it introduced the Sea Wolf, one of the first purpose-built dive watches sold to the public, at the same time as the better-known divers of Blancpain and Rolex. The Super Sea Wolf followed in the 1960s, and the Olympos became known for its unusual faceted case.

Zodiac has been owned by the Fossil Group since 2001. Recent models use Swiss automatic movements and are known for limited editions with colourful dials and bezels.

The main lines

Super Sea Wolf. The core collection: 1960s-style divers with rotating bezels, in steel, titanium and ceramic, in many colourful limited editions, including compression and GMT versions.

Sea Wolf. Vintage-inspired divers closer to the 1953 original.

Olympos. A reissue of the 1960s design with its faceted case and integrated lugs.
