Christopher Ward is one of the brands that changed how people buy watches: an English company that sold Swiss-made watches directly online, at prices well below traditional luxury brands. We have 36 Christopher Ward watches in stock, from $440 to $6,600, with a median of $1,055.
A short history
Christopher Ward was founded in England in 2004 by Mike France, Peter Ellis and Chris Ward. Its idea was simple: design watches in Britain, have them made in Switzerland and sell them directly to customers online, without the margins of retailers. In the 2010s the company took over its Swiss production partner, giving it its own workshop in Switzerland and its own movement developments.
The main lines
C60 Trident. The dive watch that made the brand's name: 600 m water resistance in its Pro versions, ceramic bezels, many sizes and colours.
C63 Sealander. A lighter, everyday sports watch, often in 36 to 39 mm, including GMT and titanium versions.
The Twelve. An integrated-bracelet sports watch with a twelve-sided case, in steel and titanium, including skeleton versions like the one shown above.
Bel Canto. A chiming watch that strikes the hours on a gong, an unusual complication at its price.
C1 and C65. Dressier and vintage-inspired models.
What Christopher Ward costs
Our Christopher Ward watches run from $440 to $6,600. Pre-owned pieces start at $440. That puts Christopher Ward among the most affordable Swiss-made automatic watches, with specifications that often compete with much pricier brands.

- Water resistance. For a C60 you plan to dive with, ask about the last pressure test; see water resistance explained.
