About Ulysse Nardin

Ulysse Nardin was founded in Le Locle in 1846 and became famous for marine chronometers, the precision clocks ships used to find their longitude at sea.

In 2001 the Freak introduced a movement that turns around the dial to show the time, with no conventional hands or crown, and pioneered silicon parts in the escapement.
