Piaget is the specialist of the ultra-thin watch and of watches that are also jewellery. Its Altiplano is one of the thinnest dress watches made, and its Polo is one of the great gold sports watches of the 1970s. We have 44 Piaget watches in stock, from $4,675 to $140,795.

A short history

Georges Édouard Piaget set up his workshop in 1874 in La Côte-aux-Fées, a village in the Swiss Jura, making movements for other brands. Piaget began signing watches under its own name in the 20th century and became known for very thin movements: the hand-wound 9P in 1957 and the automatic 12P in 1960, then the thinnest self-winding movement of its kind.

In the 1960s and 1970s Piaget also became famous for jewellery watches with stone dials and gold bracelets. The Polo appeared in 1979. Piaget has been part of the Richemont group since the late 1980s.

  • Ultra-thin cases. Thin cases are easier to bend or dent; check that the case back sits flush.
  • Papers and service. See our pre-owned checklist.
