About Moritz Grossmann
Karl Moritz Grossmann was one of the watchmakers who built up Glashütte in the 19th century, and in 1878 he helped to found its school of watchmaking. The modern company bearing his name was established in Glashütte in 2008 by Christine Hutter.
It makes its own movements in the Glashütte tradition, with a large plate in German silver, and finishes them by hand. Details such as the hands, made in-house and heated to a brown-violet color, set its watches apart.
