About Louis Moinet

Louis Moinet was a French watchmaker who in 1816 built the compteur de tierces, now recognized as the first chronograph. The brand that carries his name was revived by Jean-Marie Schaller and has its workshops at Saint-Blaise, in Switzerland.

It makes small series and unique pieces, mostly in titanium and gold.
