About Laco

Laco was founded in 1925 in Pforzheim, Germany, as Lacher & Co. In the 1940s it was one of the five companies that made the large observation watches, the B-Uhr, for pilots and navigators, and that design is still the heart of its range.

Laco builds its watches in Pforzheim, from affordable automatic pilot's watches to models aged by hand to look like the originals.

Signature models

Pilot Watch Original
Close to the historic watches: riveted strap, sandblasted case, in sizes from 39 to 45 mm and above.
Pilot Watch Basic
The same look with simpler movements, the way into the brand.
Navy and Squad
Marine deck-watch designs and dive watches.

What to know before you buy

  • Type A has the hours 1 to 11 around the dial; Type B has large minutes on the outside and a small hour ring inside. Both are historically correct, so choose the one you read more easily.
  • Check the diameter: these watches wear large because the dial reaches the edge of the case.

Where to buy a Laco: your options

A Laco can be bought from an authorized dealer, from an independent dealer such as Watchflix NYC, or from other sellers on the grey market. The table shows how they usually differ. Watchflix NYC is independent and not affiliated with Laco.
