About Favre Leuba

Favre Leuba traces its history to 1737, when Abraham Favre was recorded as a watchmaker with his own workshop in Le Locle, Switzerland. That makes it one of the oldest watch brands still in existence.

It is remembered for mechanical instrument watches: the Bivouac of 1962, the first wristwatch with a mechanical altimeter and barometer, and the Bathy of 1968, a dive watch that also measured depth. The brand was relaunched in 2024 with new Chief, Deep Raider and Sea Sky collections.
